Fresh development are seen in the suicide case of Indian Television’s renowned celebrity Pratyusha Banerjee aka Anandi. Although the friends and family of Pratyusha say that she was a happy go lucky girl, the reason behind Pratyusha letting her life to heavenly abode is still at dark. According to her family and close friends, Pratyusha was supposed to get married to her live-in partner Rahul Raj Singh in a month. But the sudden suicide of Pratyusha has brought the television industry to heart throbbing and unexpected episode. Here is the timeline of the last moments of Pratyusha:
1st April: Pratyusha hanged herself on the ceiling fan at her Goregaon residence in Mumbai around 5pm. Her live-in relationship partner Rahul Raj Singh immediately rushed her to Kokilaben Hospital where she was declared dead.
Soon after Rahul informed her parents and friends, he vanished from the hospital and was untraceable for some time.
Her friends, Kamya Punjabi, Sara Khan, Ajaz Khan, Dolly Bindra also rushed to hospital after Pratyusha’s demise.
2nd April: Pratyusha’s parents landed Mumbai from Jamshedpur to perform last rites of Pratyusha. Her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh was traced and interrogated by at Bangurnagar police station, where he said that he disappeared because he got anxious after her death.
Late in the evening, Pratyusha was cremated in a bridal attire at Oshiwara Crematorium in Mumbai.
3rd April: Boyfriend Rahul was admitted to hospital for chest pain. According to Rahul’s lawyer, he was fragile after the death of his beloved.
Post interrogation, the police carried out searches at their Goregaon residence where the actress was found dead.
4th April: Pratyusha’s close friends revealed some unbelievable facts about the relationship of Rahul and Pratyusha. They also alleged that Rahul duped women on the pretext of casting them in movies. Moreover, it was revealed that Rahul was mostly violent with the actress.
5th April: Pratyusha’s parents hold a press conference where they opened up about their daughter and her alleged troubled relationship with live-in boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh.

13th April: Rahul gets interim protection from arrest till 18th April.
17th April: Rahul Raj Singh discharged from hospital, claims innocence.
18th April: Bombay High Court adjourned Rahul Raj Singh’s bail plea further till 25th April.
19th April: JJ Hospitals medical reports conducted on Pratyusha’s body, says she was pregnant and also indicated death of a premature foetus , i.e, she might have had an abortion days before suicide.
20th April: Pratyusha’s mother, Shoma Banerjee files a petition in Bombay High Court seeking a Crime Branch probe for speedy investigation in her daughters suicide case.
21st April: Bombay High Court rejected Shoma Banerjee’s petition, said Mumbai Police doing fair probe.
22nd April: Another revelation on Pratyusha’s medical report: Forensic tests said, Pratyusha was too drunk that night when she committed suicide.
25th April: Bombay High Court judge to hear the telephonic conversation between Pratyusha and her beau Rahul Raj Singh on suicide night.
