New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday unveiled the autobiography of Essel Group Chairman Dr. Subhash Chandra at his official 7, RCR residence here.

Speaking at the book launch, Prime Minister Modi said, “Writing such a book can be risky but it is the nature of Subhash Chandra ji to take risks.”

“I always urge the students to read biographies as reading them makes the reader closer to the historical context of that age,” he added. The Prime Minister also appreciated the community service initiatives, particularly in the field of education taken by Chandra.

The autobiography titled ‘The Z Factor: My Journey as the Wrong Man at the Right Time’ has been written along with Pranjal Sharma. Dr. Chandra revolutionised the television industry by launching the country’s first satellite Hindi channel Zee TV in 1992 and later the first private news channel Zee News.
