Mumbai: The Mumbai police have successfully traced the car used in Sheena Bora’s murder. According to police sources, the silver Chevrolet car which was used in allegedly killing of Sheena by Indrani, Shyam Rai and Sanjeev Khanna in 2012 was sold to a garage owner in Worli. The police have traced the garage owner from Worli and the driver, who was using the car.

On Tuesday, the police had called the driver to the Khar police station to question him and get the details of the car. As per sources, the car is registered with Tardeo RTO. According to sources, the car was sold to a garage owner in Worli, who later sold it to another person, and then another hand was changed. However, the police have successfully traced the current owner of the car and have called him for questioning and confirm whether the same car was used in the murder.

Police also inquired about the car from the garage owner and the driver, who had purchased the car from Indrani. According to sources, the car was sold on a very cheap rate. “On Monday, a staffer from Khar police station had gone to the garage at Worli, where the car was first sold. The owner of the garage has informed us that he used the car for some time and later sold it to someone else,” said an officer. “The owner has been called by us and will come with the car. We had questioned the driver and the garage owner on Monday,” he added.
