Mumbai Mega Block on Sunday, November 4; train service on Western Line to be affected

Central Railway and Western Railway will conduct Mumbai Mega Block on most of the Sundays for the maintenance works of rail racks and other related works under both the Railway zones.

Central Railway not yet announced Mega Block for Harbour Line and Central Line on Sunday, 04.11.2018.  But Western Railway announced Jumbo Block details in Western Line on 04.11.2018.

Central Line

Central Railway announced that Railway will operate night traffic block o­n 03/04.11.2018 between Kalyan and Titwala

Harbour Line

Central Railway not yet announced the Mega Block o­n Harbour line o­n 04.11.2018.

Western Line

NO DAY BLOCK only NIGHT BLOCK

VASAI ROAD – VAITARNA (11.50 PM – 02.50 AM)

To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling and overhead equipment, a block of three hours will be undertaken from 23.50 hrs to 02.50 hrs o­n Up fast line and from 01.25 hrs to 04.25 hrs o­n Down fast line during intermittent night of 3rd/4th November, 2018 between Vasai Road and Vaitarna stations. During the block, Up and Dn Mail/Express trains will be delayed by 15 minutes.

Therefore, there will not be any DAY BLOCK o­n Sunday, 4th November, 2018 o­n Western Railway.

Due to these blocks, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling o­n foot board, roof top of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains.
