Central Railway and Western Railway will conduct Mumbai Mega Block on most of the Sundays for the maintenance works of rail racks and other related works under both the Railway zones.
CENTRAL LINE
MATUNGA – MULUND DN SLOW LINE (11.20 AM – 03.50 PM)
Dn slow line services leaving Matunga from 10.57 am to 03.52 pm will be diverted on Dn fast line between Matunga and Mulund statins halting at Sion, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations and further re-diverted to Dn slow line proper at Mulund stations.
Dn slow line services will not be available at Vidyavihar, Kanjur Marg and Nahur stations. Passengers of these stations are allowed to travel via Ghatkopar, Bhandup and Mulund stations.
Up fast/semi fast services leaving Kalyan from 10.54 am to 03.06 pm will halt at Diva, Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
Dn fast/semi fast services leaving CSMT Mumbai from 10.48 am to 03.40 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund and Diva stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule.
All Dn and Up slow services leaving/arriving CSMT Mumbai between 11.00 am and 05.00 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.
HARBOUR LINE
VADALA ROAD – MANKHURD UP and DN HARBOUR LINES (11.10 AM – 04.10 PM)
All Dn Harbour line services to Vashi/Belapur/ Panvel leaving CSMT Mumbai from 10.34 am to 03.44 pm and all Up Harbour line services towards CSMT Mumbai leaving Panvel/ Belapur/ Vashi from 10.21 am to 03.28 pm will remain cancelled.
However, special services will run during the block period on Panvel- Mankhurd stations.
Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Main line and Trans Harbour line from 10.00 am to 04.30 pm.
Another Block by Central Railway on Sunday (14.04.2019)
WESTERN LINE
CHURCHGATE – MUMBAI CENTRAL (10.35 hrs – 15.35 hrs)
Jumbo block will be taken on Up and Dn fast lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs on Sunday, 14th April, 2019, to carry out maintenance work of tracks, signalling and overhead equipment. During this period, all fast line trains will be operated on slow lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central. Due to this, some Up and Dn suburban trains will be cancelled.
