A fire has broken out in a slum in Mumbai’s Matunga. Six fire tenders present at the spot. Fire-fighting operations are underway. No injuries have been reported yet. The incident comes two days after a major blaze at the government-run ESIC Kamgar Hospital at Marol in suburban Andheri, that killed nine persons, was reported.

The cause of the fire is believed to be a short-circuit. However, no official confirmation on the same has been made as of yet.

More details are awaited.
