Rajkot: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Spokesperson Ashutosh on Monday said that it seemed that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi was ruling the whole state of Gujarat alone and nobody else had a say in the governance of the state, adding that this kind of governance could be extremely dangerous for the country.

“‘It seems that Gujarat is called a democracy only for its namesake as none of the people including government officials and BJP leaders open their mouths. It seems that only one person is running the whole state, which is very dangerous for the country,” said Ashutosh.

“He has insulted the people of Gujarat by saying that all the developments in the state took place because of him, and that Gujarat was called a democratic state only for its namesake,” he said.

“We promise that the AAP is all for about empowering the people of Gujarat and the person who says that Gujarat has progressed only because of him is insulting the people of Gujarat,” he added.

He further said that a team of AAP was attacked by a few BJP leaders and added that they were not scared of anyone.

“It seems our journey has just started and the BJP is trying to create problems. Today BJP followed a team of the AAP and attacked them on the streets Over six people were injured,” he said.

“Niether are we scared of them nor are we going to take revenge by fighting as we believe in gandhian ideologies. The real fight starts from today and there are three more months to go,” said Ashutosh.

“The BJP and Congress will soon realize that if AAP can form a government in Delhi in a year than it can do the same in the country,” he added
