New Delhi: Anil Madhav Dave, a Narmada river conservationist and environmentalist today took charge as the Minister for Environment Forest and Climate Change.
“I will take one week to understand the departmental work and then set priorities accordingly,” Dave said, adding he would carry on the good work of his predecessor Prakash Javadekar, now the HRD Minister.
“Projects initiated by Javadekar will go on,” Dave said. Javadekar met Dave at the office. Asked about the river linking project, he said: “Rivers must flow.”
