Mumbai : The much awaited SSC (Class X) results will be out online at 1 pm. Students can check their results at www.mahresult.nic.in.
The Class X examination was conducted in March 2016. In the Mumbai division as many as 3.75 lakh students had appeared. Marksheets will be available to students on June 15 in their schools after 3 p.m. Students can also get their results through SMS.
From this year onwards, students can request for verification of their marks and seek a photocopy of their answer sheets, the very next day after declaration of results. The board’s website has a sample of such a request.
The students must take its print out and fill it. Request for verification must be sent after payment of verification charge between June 7 and 16. For photocopy of the answer sheet, request can be made between June 7 and 27.
Since March 2013, there is provision for revaluation of answer papers. It is compulsory to take a photocopy of answer sheet to get a revaluation done. After receiving the photocopy, students are supposed to make a revaluation request within five days. For this, they have to approach their respective division boards after payment of the revaluation charge.
If a student is not satisfied with his/her marks, the student can re-appear under the Class Improvement Scheme started in 2008. For this, the student should have appeared for and cleared all the subjects and must appear again for all the subjects. Such a student will have two chances to re-appear – one in July-August 2016 and other in March 2017.
For the examination to be held in July-August 2016, students have to fill a request online. The dates for this will be declared later.
This year, the board as well as state education minister Vinod Tawde had to come out with a clarification rejecting rumours regarding date of results after such rumours went viral on different media, from whatsapp to facebook and some online websites.
