Tripoli: A bomb exploded outside the Spanish embassy on Tuesday in Libya’s capital city of Tripoli. However, there were no reports of casualties but there was material damage, security officials told EFE.  According to the officials, the bomb exploded beside a wall surrounding the diplomatic mission, which was vacant — with only local security guards in the vicinity. The embassy was evacuated on July 31, 2014.  On April 13, a bomb exploded near the Moroccan embassy in Tripoli, causing significant damage to the compound.  The attack came just hours after militants attacked the South Korean embassy in the Libyan capital, killing two guards and injuring one.  There were no casualties reported among the South Korean nationals.
