Ensure social security benefits to every employee: Bandaru Dattatreya

New Delhi : Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya has reportedly written a letter to all the Chief Ministers and Lieutenant Governors asking them to ensure all benefits to outsourced staff in government departments. As per reports, Dattatraya said, it has been observed that various departments, Public Sector Undertakings, and other bodies working in the state are increasingly employing a large number of staff on outsourcing basis. The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation has reported that a significant number of such employees are not getting any social security benefits, which Dattatraya said, was a violation of the social security rights of such employees.
