Devotees gather for second Shahi Snan at Nasik, Tryambakeshwar

Nasik : Thousands of devotees have started gathering at Nasik and Tryambakeshwar for second Shahi Snan to be held on Sunday morning. Elaborate security arrangements have been made to ensure that the event passes off without any glitch. As a part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ambitious Swachh Bharat Mission, the Maharashtra Government has decided to showcase this year’s kumbha as Swacch Kumbha. Volunteers from Nasik are working hard to achieve this Swacch Kumbh target. The Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran will have to flush out 12 lakh litres of water in a single day tomorrow to ensure that the water at Kushavarta and Ramkunda is fit for the holy dip by sadhus and pilgrims.
