Death toll of Indians in Haj stampede rises to 58

New Delhi:  The toll of Indian Haj pilgrims killed in the stampede near Makkah in Saudi Arabia has risen to 58, the government announced on Sunday. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj tweeted: “We have lost 58 Indians, as many as 78 other are missing. We are doing everything to locate our people.”  Over 1,000 people were killed in the September 24 stampede near Makkah during the Haj.
