Mumbai : In a bid to lessen passenger rush, the Central Railway has added 13 new services in its schedule and has extended 5 services on its suburban line. These additional services on the main line will run from Saturday, March 19. There will also be slight changes in the current train timings on the fast line.
In the Thane-Kalyan corridor, 3 services in the morning and 4 services in the evening are added. In Kurla-Thane, Kalyan-Ambarnath, and Ambarnath-Badlapur corridors 2 services each are added. While in kalyan-Titwala and Titwala-Asangaon corridor 1 service each are added. While, there are 5 extensions also.
Asangaon – Kalyan local leaving Asangaon at 8.47 am is extended up to Thane. Kurla – CST local leaving Kurla at 07. 19 pm is extended to leave from Kalyan at 6.21 pm. Kalyan – Karjat local leaving Kalyan at 11.17 am is extended to leave from Thane at 10.48 am.
CST – Dombivli local leaving CST at 5. 53 pm (instead of 5.51 pm) is extended to run up to Kalyan. CST – Thane local leaving CST at 5.58 pm is extended to run up to Dombivli .
