The legit queen of controversy and Bollywood’s very own loose cannon, Kangana Ranaut has made headlines once again as India’s highest paid actress. No this is not something listed in Forbes, but the report has indeed raised brows for other A-listers.
After confirming her being cast for late Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa’s biopic titled ‘Thalaivi’, a report by Mirchi 9 revealed that the Manikarnika actress has charged a whopping amount of Rs 24 crore for the role. The film which will also be released in Hindi titled as ‘Jaya’. That being said, no actress so far has been paid that much in the film fraternity.
Thalaivi will commence shooting once the actress is done with the work for two projects that she is currently doing in Hindi- Panga and Mental Hai Kya.
