Arti Singh has reacted to the ongoing divorce controversy surrounding her uncle Govinda and aunt Sunita Ahuja. During a recent interaction with the paparazzi, the actress refused to comment on the matter, stating that it is a family issue and she does not interfere in the matters of her elders. She also seemingly took a dig at those trying to use the controversy for “footage.”
When the paparazzi asked Arti for her reaction to Govinda and Sunita’s ongoing controversy, she maintained that she would not speak about it publicly. Arti said, “Maine jaisa kaha pehle bhi, main apne se badon ke beech mein nahi bolti.” She further remarked, “Ye unka matter hai, jo log footage lena chahte hain wo achha wala le rahe hain. Main unmein se nahi hoon kyunki main family member hoon.”
Arti was also asked about her personal feelings amid the ongoing controversy. Responding to the question, she said that she would rather discuss her emotions privately with her family than share them publicly. “Meri jo feeling hai na, main raat ko Krushna (Abhishek) ko call karke bataungi. Meri feeling hai, main Tina (Ahuja) se baat karungi, main Yash se baat karungi, main Sunita mami se baat karungi, main apni mummy se baat karungi,” Arti said, as quoted by Bollywood Dazzle.
She added, “Main apni feeling apni family ko bataungi, duniya ko batane ki zarurat nahi samajhti kyunki wo meri feeling hai.”
For the unversed, Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s marriage has been under scrutiny amid reports of a strained relationship and a divorce petition filed by Sunita around two years ago. The controversy intensified after Sunita publicly accused Govinda of being involved with his Roopa co-star Komal Rani Swarnkar, while Govinda hit back at her remarks. On August 19, Sunita withdrew the divorce petition, with Govinda’s manager confirming the development. However, the controversy resurfaced after Sunita claimed that Govinda and Komal were allegedly planning to marry, keeping the couple’s relationship in the spotlight.
