In a recent interview, Seher Hone Ko Hai actor Gaurav Sharma addressed the much-talked-about controversy involving Parth Samthaan and Rishita Kothari's boyfriend, Mridul Meena. Following Gaurav's claims about the alleged incident, Mridul has taken legal action against the actor for allegedly "making up stories."
In an exclusive interview with Free Press Journal, Mridul opened up about taking legal action against Gaurav. Mridul objected to certain claims made by Gaurav during the interview, calling them defamatory in nature. Following the interview, Mridul consulted his legal team and decided to initiate legal action, claiming that the statements had the potential to damage his reputation.
Mridul said, "If you don't know the full story, and if I choose to stay quiet and ignore certain things, that doesn't mean anyone can create or speak stories about me." He further added, "Stories are good to hear when they're part of a project, but this doesn't work in real life. I can also accuse ten people of ten different things, but I don't want to get involved in that."
Mridul further stated that he is not concerned about what people choose to believe about him. However, he urged others not to use his name in interviews or "cross boundaries" without any proof. He said, "Anyone is free to think whatever they want, and I honestly don't care. But if someone uses my name in interviews or links me to anything that crosses boundaries without any proof, it will be treated as a legal offence. My legal team will take every possible legal action necessary."
What Did Gaurav Sharma Say About Mridul Meena?
In an interview with Telly Talk, Gaurav was asked about the alleged controversy involving the show's lead actors, Rishita Kothari and Parth Samthaan. Responding to what had allegedly happened, Gaurav claimed that he had heard on the set, "Rishita ka boyfriend aur Parth inka koi social media debate ho gaya hai, kisi baat ko le kar koi hurt ho gaya hai uske chakkar mein." He further said in the interview, "Mamla kaafi garma gaya tha beech mein." Gaurav also claimed that he sensed a "cold war" between the lead actors whenever they shot scenes together. According to him, such disagreements often affect actors on set. He then jokingly remarked along with the host, "Isliye main kehta hoon ye sab karo mat set pe."
