New Delhi: The city based winner of the inaugural edition of the Max Life Insurance i-genius Young Singing Stars (YSS) Shraddha Shree has been nominated in the `Best Pop Song’ category for her song ‘Khuda Mere’ at the upcoming Global Indian Music Academy Awards (GiMA), which is to be held in Mumbai.

The nominated song has been composed by award winning music composer Gulraj Singh and the lyrics have been penned by Manoj Yadav, who has various Bollywood soundtracks to his credit including the hit ‘Piku.’

Expressing her happiness, Shraddha said she is overwhelmed beyond words for her first ever music nomination, adding she is very grateful to GiMA and Max Life for giving her an opportunity to showcase her talent.

“This nomination means the world to me…I’m such a huge fan of all the artistes that are nominated in this category that I’m truly humbled to even have my name alongside theirs. I cannot ask for anything more,” she said.

Others who are nominated alongside Shraddha in the same category are Sonu Nigam, Salim-Sulaiman, Bickram Ghosh and Yo Yo Honey Singh.
