This year, a total of 15,58,077 students have passed the examination, including 7,52,685 boys and 8,05,392 girls. The overall pass percentage is 82.11%.
A total of 123 students have made it to the top 10 merit list of the BSEB Matric results, with 63 boys and 60 girls. Among them, 25 students are ranked in the top 5 positions, while 98 students occupy ranks 6 to 10.
To pass the Bihar Board Class 10 examination, students should acquire a minimum of 33 per cent in each subject. It will be required of all such students appearing in the 2025 matric examination. The students who will not be meeting the minimum score in one or two subjects will have to appear for compartmental exams.
The BSEB conducted the Class 10 Matric exams between February 17 to 25, 2025, with around 15.85 lakh students sitting in the examination.
BSEB 10th Result 2025: Award For Top Performers
According to last year's trends, the Bihar Board will reward the top three Class 10 students with lucrative prizes. The first rank holder will be given Rs 1 lakh and a laptop, the second rank holder will be given Rs 75,000 and a laptop, and the third rank holder will be given Rs 50,000 and a laptop. This move is intended to encourage students to attain academic excellence.
Bihar Board Class 10 Result: Check Last Year's Performance
In 2024, 4,52,302 students obtained the first division in the Bihar Board Class 10 exam, of which 2,52,846 were boys and 1,99,456 were girls. The second division was obtained by 5,24,965 students, and 3,80,732 students got the third division. Besides this, 21,843 students fell into the pass category, showing overall success. Shivankar Kumar topped last year in the Bihar Board Class 10 exam, with several students obtaining impressive marks.
