The controversy over the greatness of Mughal emperor Akbar has once again started in Rajasthan as the education minister of the new BJP government has asked how can Akbar, who used to run Meena Bazaar, be great.

Along with this, while talking about strict adherence to dress codes in schools, Dilawar said that those who want to wear Hijab should go to schools where the dress code is relaxed.

The unending debate on the curriculum taught in schools

Every time with the change of government in Rajasthan, a debate starts on the curriculum taught in schools and the situation is the same this time also.

The education minister  Madan Dilawar, known for his staunch Hindu views has said that deliberate efforts are being made to give the wrong direction to the next generation.  ' I am not in favour of changing the syllabus, but the contents which degrade great men will be charged. Misleading information is being given about ancestors. Efforts are being made to humiliate great men. Such portions will be removed from the syllabus,' said the minister to the media.

Questioning the greatness of Akbar minister said that he used to abduct women and run Meena Bazar.  Maharana Pratap has always fought for the country and Mewar, so how can a person fighting with him be good to the country?

Known to be a hardcore RSS worker Dilwar said that it was being taught in some books that Chandrashekhar Azad and Bhagat Singh were terrorists and Veer Savarkar is not a patriot, how will we accept this? We are reviewing such content and will change it.

On the issue of Gyanvapi, Madan Dilawar said that he and the entire country are very happy that the invaders once vandalized the land of Lord Vishwanath and tried to give it some other form, but the court has thoughtfully decided the case.

Regarding the Hijab controversy in schools, the Education Minister said that he has not issued any new orders. There is already an order that students should go to school wearing their uniform so it has to be followed strictly.

He also announced to celebrate the  Valentine's Day as parents' worship day and said that the previous BJP government had started celebrating Mother-Father Worship Day on Valentine's Day. Will start it once again.
