Gajanan Mallya, General Manager of South Western Railway inspected Ballari- Hubballi Section today and checked various safety parameters. He inspected Ballari station, Goods Shed and running room at Ballari.
Gajanan Mallya conducted Window Trail inspection from Ballari to Hubballi. Enroute, he inspected Level Crossing Gate No. 90 and Minor Bridge No. 154 between Papinayanakahalli - Bayaluvoddigeri, Major Bridge No. 104 on Tungabhadra River in Hosapete - Munirabad Section, Goods Shed improvement work at Koppaland Road Under Bridge No. 12 A between Hulkoti and Annigeri. During the inspection he also interacted with Gateman at LC 90 and track maintenance staff at Tungabhadra River Bridge and discussed about various safety aspects to be ensured in train operations.
Arvind Malkhede, Hubballi Divisional Railway Manager; SPS Gupta, Principal Chief Engineer; Manoj Mahajan, Principal Chief Electrical Engineer and Harishankar Verma, Principal Chief Operations Manager and other officers and staff were present.
