After her controversial exit from Piya Rangrezz, actress Gulki Joshi is all set to make a comeback with theatre. Titled Agnipankh, and originally written in 1960 by P L Mayekar, Gulki plays the role of Sunita, a well-educated and a progressive girl who doesn’t believe in old ritualistic behaviour. She is ambitious and yet grounded.
Gulki wanted a fresh start after she was unceremoniously removed for the show for lack of chemistry with the actor Gaurav Bajaj. “Theatre is my first love. I feel it is a good way of brushing up your skills as an actor and also reaches out to the audiences. Theatre keeps me extremely grounded as an actor,” Gulki said.
Though she has not given up on TV yet, Gulki is keeping her comeback on TV under wraps. “I do have an announcement to make soon however I can only confirm that sometime later once everything is finalised,” Gulki exclaimed.
