In view of enhancing security of women passengers travelling on railway, Praveen Chandra Sinha, IG Cum Principle Chief Security Commissioner RPF Western Railway, visited Borivali station to take stock of security arrangements and addressed frontline staff & senior RPF officers. He emphasized on increased visibility & presence of uniformed staff, as well as discreet checking/raids on criminals in coordination with GRP & Police. Sinha also directed to ensure effective CCTV monitoring and surveillance of suspicious activity. According to Sumit Thakur- Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Rly,Praveen Chandra Sinha sensitized staff about various schemes and initiatives being implemented to provide security to women passengers and advised all staff to ensure strict implementation of these initiatives.
