New Delhi: Farmers across the country are waiting for the 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme.
As per media reports and the scheme’s regular schedule, the 20th installment may be released around June 20, 2025. However, the government has not officially confirmed the date yet.
Earlier, the 19th installment was sent on 24 February 2025 from Bhagalpur, Bihar. At that time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi transferred Rs 22,000 crore directly to the bank accounts of 9.8 crore farmers through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
Under this scheme, Rs 2000 is given every 4 months to eligible farmers.
Which Farmers Might Not Get the Money?
To receive the 20th installment, farmers must follow some important rules. If these are not completed, the money may get delayed or may not come at all.
Incomplete e-KYC
If the farmer has not completed the e-KYC process, they might not get the next installment.
Farmers can do this at www.pmkisan.gov.in or by visiting a nearby Common Service Centre (CSC).
Aadhaar Not Linked with Bank Account
The farmer’s bank account must be linked with Aadhaar.
If there is any mistake in the Aadhaar number or if it is not linked with the bank account, the payment will not come.
Land Not Verified (Bhu-Satyaapan)
Farmers need to verify their land records.
If this verification is not done, the money will not be transferred.
Farmer Registry and Farmer ID Missing
If the farmer has not done registration or doesn’t have a Farmer ID, they will not get the money.
Wrong Details or Not Eligible
If the farmer filled in wrong details like incorrect bank account number, Aadhaar number, or land info, the application may be rejected.
Also, if the farmer is not eligible under the rules of the scheme, they won’t receive the money.
