Mumbai: BSE has announced that futures and options (F&O) trading in five listed companies will be stopped from July 31, 2025. This decision follows SEBI’s updated rules about which stocks can stay in the derivatives segment. The five companies are ACC Ltd, Balkrishna Industries Ltd, Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Ltd, and Tata Communications Ltd.

From now on, no new expiry month contracts will be created for these five stocks. However, the already existing contracts for June 2025 and July 2025 will expire on their normal expiry dates – June 12 and July 10, 2025, respectively. The August 2025 contracts, which were set to expire on August 14, will now end early on July 31, 2025.

After July 31, 2025, these five stocks will no longer be available for trading in the equity derivatives segment. This move is part of regular reviews to keep the derivatives market clean and ensure that only eligible stocks are traded. All trading members are advised to take note and plan accordingly.
