Bollywood singer Mika Singh, who marked his debut with the album 'Saawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag' in 1998, has some of the most trending chartbusters to his credit, including 'Dil Mein Baji Guitar', 'Mauja Hi Mauja', 'Singh Is Kingg', 'Dhink Chika', 'Desi Beat', 'Long Drive', 'Chinta Ta Chita', 'Gandi Baat', 'Jumme Ki Raat', and 'Aaj Ki Party', among others.
The singer, who is not only a lover of luxuries, but a philanthropist as well, has now purchased a private island. As per his Instagram post, Singh is the first Indian singer to do so.
Sharing a video of himself seated in a boat, the caption read, “Pop singer @mikasingh is having a great time at his little paradise. The first Indian singer to have his own private island with a lake, 7 boats and 10 horses. That’s what you call a real King!”
Recently, Mika was in the news for his reality show 'Swayamvar - Mika Di Vohti' during which he found his soon-to-be bride Akanksha Puri.
In an earlier interview with IANS, the 'Sawan Main Lag Gayi Aag' singer had said, "For so long my family wanted me to get married but I was focussing on my career and waiting to reach at a level of my singing profession where I can say that 'Yes' now I am ready to take this responsibility. I was also taking care of my family so there were many things. Now when the channel approached, I agreed to it immediately thinking that this is the right time."
"There were similar kinds of shows that happened earlier. But I never said 'Yes' to them. But this time I asked my family and friends and they were like 'go ahead with this as 'you might settle down through this show only'," he added.
Interestingly, Akanksha, who has been friends with the music sensation for 13-14 years, had been rumoured to be dating him for a while.
