Aryan Khan, the son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, seems to have taken after his father when it comes to business. Just like SRK, the star-kid too is set to be a part of the movie business very soon but he does not intend to make it his only source of income.
Aryan and SRK recently announced the launch of the former's luxury clothing brand named D'Yavol, for which the father-son duo even shot a promotional video together which sent the internet in a tizzy.
The limited edition clothing line was finally unveiled on April 30 and just a little browsing on the website tells us that it surely is not meant for the common man!
Aryan Khan's brand sells Rs 2 lakh jacket
The website is splashed with pictures of SRK and Aryan and it is enough to establish the fact that D'Yavol is no ordinary brand. However, it is the ridiculously expensive pricing that has got the internet talking.
A hoodie from Aryan's clothing line starts at Rs 44,000, while sweatshirts are anywhere around Rs 36,000. A basic white t-shirt with the signature D'Yavol duck is for Rs 24,400.
But in the midst of this all, it is the D'Yavol jacket which steals the show. The jacket is being modelled in by none other than SRK himself. It is a black Australian lamb leather jacket with the 'X' logo printed on the arm.
Priced at a whopping Rs 2,00,555, the limited edition jacket had only 30 pieces in stock and while we still fathom the high price of the jacket, it seems to be already sold out, as per the website.
What makes the jacket extra-special is the fact that all the 30 pieces have been signed personally by Shah Rukh Khan on the inner lining, so it's more of a trophy for the buyers than just a regular piece of clothing.
Aryan Khan's film debut
While Aryan has already given a glimpse of his direction skills with the D'Yavol advertisement, fans will get to see a full version to it with his upcoming web series.
Unlike his father, Aryan has no plans to be a star in front of the camera, but instead, he seems to be more inclined towards filmmaking. The star-kid is all set to mark his debut in the film industry by writing and directing a web series, which has reportedly been titled 'Stardom'.
While not much has been revealed about it yet, it is expected to release by the end of this year.
