BHOPAL: There was a sharp drop of six degree Celsius in day temperature on Thursday infusing chill into the atmosphere. Day temperature dropped all over the state and it reeling below normal all over the state. Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 25.9 degree Celsius which was 5 degree Celsius above normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 18.8 degree Celsius which was two degree Celsius below normal.
Jabalpur recorded a maximum temperature of 22.2 degree Celsius which was 9 degree Celsius above normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 18.0 degree Celsius which was normal.
Director Meteorological department, Dr Anupam Kashyapi said, ” first time, northern-westernly component established in Madhya Pradesh so it infused coolness. It will prevail for the next couple of days. After it the day temperature will increase and from November middle, winter is likely to onset.”
