Dewas : Various programs will be organised on the occasion of Teacher’s Day on 5th September at different government and private institutes. PM’s speech on teacher’s day will also be a significant highlight of the day.
Collector Ashutosh Awasthi has declared a regional holiday on 5th September 2014 on the occasion of Dol Gyaras at Kannaud, Satwas and Bagli Tehsil of the district. But he also instructed that the speech of the PM on the occasion of Teacher’s Day should be telecasted at every education institute of these Tehsils as well. State’s MOS of Education Deepak Joshi will felicitate the teachers on Thursday for their excellent work in the field of education. The felicitation ceremony will be organised on 12 pm at Narayan Vidhya Mandir No 2 and Excellent School in Dewas. Collector Ashutosh Awasthi, retired Principle Vijay Shrivastav and others will also be present in the ceremony. DEO KS Rajput has requested people to be present in large numbers during the ceremony. 12 teachers have been selected by the Selection Committee to select teachers for the State Level Teacher Award. In which Lecturer Devi Charan Chakarwarty will be awarded with Teacher Award under the Special Category Destitute. Education Committee of Municipal Corporation will organise a felicitation ceremony on 5th September at Malhar Smriti Mandir Bhavan. In which retired teachers will be felicitated. President of Education Committee Parveen Azam Sheikh said that the Mayor Rekha Verma will be the chief guest of the ceremony and DEO KS Rajput will be the special guest of the ceremony. And the presidency of the ceremony will be done by Municipal Com.
