BHOPAL : The Misrod police, on Saturday, registered a case of forgery against a retired DSP of CRPF, his wife, son and others for selling the same house to a GMC doctor and many others without registering the sale deed and getting multiple bank loans sanctioned on the same property.
As per the police, retired DSP (CRPF) OP Shrivastava owns a house in Sahara Estates. His wife Shobha Srivastava, along with her son Ashutosh and a relative Yogendra sold the house for Rs 49.50 lakh to Shahpura resident Dr Manoj Rathore, 32 son of Ram Prakash Rathore. He is doctor in the Gandhi Medical College. Dr Manoj purchased the house for Rs 49.50 lakh in May 2013. But the sale deed was not registered.
Sometime back, Dr Manoj Rathore contacted Shobha Srivastava for getting the registration done. She told him that the house had been sold to Yogendra and Dr Manoj should contact him. Subsequently, Dr Manoj came to know that the same house was sold to some Abha Patel too and a loan of Rs 50 lakh was sanctioned by a bank for the purchase of the house. The same house was also sold to some Harinarain Patidar for Rs 70 lakh. Patidar also got a loan sanctioned from a bank.
SI Govind Singh Rajput said, “The house was in the name of Shobha Shrivastava and her son Ashutosh. The latter is in jail in connection with a forgery case registered in MP Nagar police station. There is no information about the remaining members of retired DSP family. “
