BHOPAL : The folk dances from across the country including Maharashtra and Rajasthan were the major attraction of ‘Yuva Utsav, organised at Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) on Wednesday.
The students presented solo and group dances which mesmerised the audience including students as well as teachers too. The Trishul and Thaali dance remained the centre of attraction of the Yuva Utsav. Moreover, the students performed various forms of dances which enchanted the audiences. One of the students’ group presented Trishul dance which represented the culture of Maharashtra on stage. Another group of students stole the show with the Chirmiri dance of Rajasthan. Later students performed Thaali dance. It was followed by a series of folk dances which delighted the audiences here. Further, the folk singing was presented by the students. The students not only presented classical ragas but the folk tunes were also performed with perfection. Also, the students presented stunts on stage wonderfully which stunned the audiences for a while. The backdrop was highly decorated and the colourful costumes sported by the participants added an extra zing to their performances. The programme concluded with prize distribution.
