BHOPAL: Day temperature up surged all over the state on Sunday. There was almost 6°C rise in day temperature in the state capital. The rise provided much needed relief from cold which lashed state capital on Saturday. Bhopal also experienced rainfall of 2.8mm in last 24 hours. Hailstorm is likely at isolated places over Shahdol division and Sidhi, Singrauli, Balaghat, Mandla, Katni districts in next 24 hours.
Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 27.3°C which was normal while it recorded minimum temperature of 14.8°C which was 3°C above normal. On Saturday, the day temperature was 21.5°C. Therefore, there was rise of 6°C.
Weather will be mostly clear with partial clouds during evening hours with chances of thunder activity or light rain in some parts of the state capital during morning hours in Bhopal.
As per the meteorological department, hailstorm like condition is likely to prevail at various places in the state. Places over Shahdol division and Sidhi, Singrauli, Balaghat, Mandla, Katni districts are likely to experience hailstorm in next 24 hours. Chances are likely for rain or thundershowers at a few places over Shahdol division and Balaghat, Mandala, Katni, Jabalpur, Rewa, Sidhi and Singrauli districts. Chances are likely for shallow fog at isolated places over Rewa division and Morena, Bhind, Gwalior, Datia, Tikamgarh, Chhattarpur, Panna districts and mists at isolated places over rest of the state.
