Bhopal: Prithviraj Chauhan comes alive on stage

Khachrod: A wonderful, theatrical drama with astounding lights and attractive costumes was presented by Saraswati Shishu Mandir (SSM) on the journey of life of Prithviraj Chauhan. Principal Brajnandan Kumawat said the institution presented this kind of grand drama for the first time in its history where there was immense cooperation from students, teachers, guardians and school committee. It took place in the form of acting, light and sound show on the second day of the three-day annual function. The complex was packed with over 4,000 spectators before the scheduled time, 7 pm. Five dance performances were lined up before the event and around 200 people participated in the event which commenced with the lighting of the lamp by chief guest MLA Dileep Singh Shekhawat and municipality president Kamlesh Anil Sharma. A banquet for 2,500 people was organised by the school on the third day which also comprised several performances.
