With polls dates announced the first round of race amongst ticket seekers has begun- to get an assembly ticket. While some are making beeline at the party headquarters others are active in the constituency.  Building pressure for ticket, BJP party workers from Govindpura constituencyincluding ex-president of BJP women wing, Vandana Jachak and with other party workers gathered at a temple and organised a Sundar kaand on Tuesday to protest against Babulal Gaur.

Alleging nepotism, Jachak said that Gaur has been representing the constituency for many times in a row. Now with the word doing round that Gaur might vacate the seat for his daughter-in-law Krishna Gaur, local party workers are up in arms.  BJP workers from the constituency became hopeful when recently there were rumours that Gaur might be denied ticket owing to his age.  However, their happiness vanished when Modi had given an exceptional warm welcome to Gaur during his recent visit to the state capital.
