BHOPAL: The police officers deputed in concerned areas in Shahdol Lok Sabha by-polls and Nepanagar Assembly by-polls in the state will be considered on deputation to Election Commission of India. The state government has issued a notification in its gazette.
These officers include director general of police (DGP), officers of police headquarters associated to work related to elections, IGs of Jabalpur, Shahdol and Indore ranges, SPs of Shahdol, Anuppur, Umaria, Katni and Burhanpur and their sub-ordinate police officers. These officers have been assigned deputation of the Commission to ensure peace and maintain law and order in the constituency.
