Bhopal: DGP attends funeral of martyred constable

The State IPS Association organised a programme to pay tributes  to Ureti

BHOPAL: The last rites of constable Ashok Ureti were performed in his native village Pohani in Mandla. Director general of police Rishi Kumar Shukla was present on the occasion to pay tributes to the cop who laid down his life in the line of duty . Shukla consoled the bereaved family.

Constable Ureti died in a firing during a clash between anti-social elements and Policemen. Ureti had taken an accused to a court hearing in Shivpuri. He sustained gunshots fired by anti-social elements, who wanted to free the accused. Ureti died in the incident. The State IPS Association, on Wednesday, organised a tribute paying ceremony here on the martyrdom of Ureti.

The Association prayed to the Almighty to give strength to the bereaved family members.
