Bhopal: The state BJP took out a “Janraksha” rally in the city on Friday to protest the alleged murders of RSS workers in Kerala and demanded dismissal of the Kerala government. Hundreds of party workers marched from Board Office Square to Raj Bhavan raising full-throated slogans of “Keral ke hatyayaron ko phansi do”. The rally was led by the state party chief Nandkumar Singh Chouhan.
Addressing the protestors, Chouhan said that the cruel murders of RSS workers in Kerala were a blot on democracy. “The Kerala Government is making a mockery of the rule of law. We will not take such autocratic behaviour lying down”, he declared. He claimed that so far around 120 RSS workers have been slain in Kerala.
A delegation led by Chouhan later submitted a memorandum addressed to the President to the officials at the Raj Bhavan.
