HOSHANGABAD: A free health checkup camp was held at Government Home Science PG College on Monday under the direction of Principal Dr Kamini Jain. A team from Narmada Apna Hospital performed the health checkup. Programme in-charge Dr Sangita Ahirwar and Dr Rashmi Shrivastav said that the team did the health checkup of almost 320 girl students and of staff members. The team comprised Dr Praveen Maru, Dr Tania Ali and Rudra Pratap Singh Chouhan, health checkup in-charge and Anand Soni from health checkup department, Yashwanti Baraiya, Lakshmi Basne, Sangita Lokhande, Preeti Lodhi and Shakun Bastwar. Personal cards were provided to the students after the checkup mentioning their blood pressure, blood-group etc. Special facilities will be provided to these students through this card like discount in OPD charges, medicines and free ambulance if required. This is a praiseworthy effort of Narmada Apna Hospital. The most common problem of the girls was they being underweight. Almost 98 girls were underweight. They talked to the doctors about their problems and were suggested solutions.
