Attempt to loot journalists foiled, miscreants flee

Bagh : A gang of robbers attempted to loot the journalists of the town by attacking them at Jaitgarh Ghat near Tanda on Saturday. The journalists were heading to home after attending district Patrakar Shabd Samagam programme at Dhar. They informed the police and lodged the complaint against unidentified miscreants.

As per the received information, journalists Yunus Khan, Dinesh Jhawar, Suresh Agaal, Shahjaad Khan, Bharti Rohit Jhawar, Shiv Shankar Parihar, Kanha Sharma, and Om Prakash were returning from the function, when suddenly a gang of robbers started pelting stones on their vehicle. However, due to the promptness of the driver, they all were saved and loot attempt averted.

The driver didn’t stop and speed up the car. They took a halt at the Barhkachcha Sarpanch’s house and informed the police. Police immediately swung into action and started a manhunt to launch them but by the time they could reach, the miscreants have fled. Villagers alleged that due to the negligence of police, the robbers become more active in town.
