BHOPAL : Congress MLA Arif Aqueel has demanded to establish a bench of High Court in Bhopal during the discussion of Supplementary budget. He said, “It is a long pending demand of Bhopal and government should take it seriously.”
Similarly, Aqueel said, “Government should also focus on Hamidia Hospital where there is an urgent need to improve health services. It is a quite old Hospital. Most of the equipment are outdated so the government should make budgetary allocation for the new equipment.”
BJP-Cong jointly demand medical college in Satna
Congress MLA Yadvendra Singh raised the demand of a medical College in Satna in the name of former CM and union minister Arjun Singh. BJP MLA Shankar Lal Tiwari, cutting across the party line, immediately supported the demand of the Congress MLA and said that land has been already allotted and government should immediately take an initiative for opening the medical college.

BJP MLA Shailendra Jain demanded to clear hurdles for starting Sagar Medical College. In fact, Medical Council of India (MCI) has cancelled the recognition of Sagar Medical College.
