Kathmandu : An unruly mob of around 150 people in Nepal have threatened to set the house of Sadbhawana Party Chairman Rajendra Mahato on fire.

According to The Himalayan Times, United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) said in a press release that another unruly mob had hurled stones at the Sadbhawana Party office in Kathmandu. SP General Secretary Manish Kumar Suman said his family and the party office staff did not know who these people were.  The UDMF said the ongoing peaceful movement in Madhes was against the single ethnic identity based nationalism and anarchic groups who were opposed to this movement were acting with malicious intent to spread communal clashes. Mahato has been leading protests in various Terai districts ever since the UDMF launched their agitation in the Madhes region.
