A tragic plane crash occurred on Wednesday (July 23) on the A21 Cordamolle-Ospitale highway near Brescia in northern Italy, claiming two lives.
The horrific accident was caught on CCTV camera. The chilling visuals of the crash show the plane nose-diving before crashing onto the busy highway. Instantly after the plane crashed on the ground, a massive fireball erupted, engulfing vehicles on the highway. The disturbing video of the incident has since gone viral on social media.
According to reports, two occupants of the aircraft—75-year-old lawyer Sergio Ravaglia and his 55-year-old wife—died on the spot in the accident. The plane reportedly crashed shortly after taking off.
Two cars were caught in the explosion, with one of the drivers sustaining severe burn injuries. The severely injured driver was rushed to the hospital for treatment, while the other driver was treated at the scene.

Several oncoming vehicles managed to brake in time, saving themselves from collision with the wreckage and getting caught in the blaze.
A rescue team, involving firefighters, ambulances and local police, rushed to the scene soon after the fatal crash. Firefighters extinguished the blaze. The accident caused the highway to be shut down in both directions. It was reopened after debris was cleared from the site. An investigation has been launched by authorities to determine what caused the crash.

The harrowing moment was caught on a street surveillance camera, capturing the aircraft as it plunged onto the busy highway and burst into flames on impact. Nearby vehicles were seen scrambling to escape, with some narrowly avoiding the fiery wreckage.
In a separate incident, a Russian passenger plane crashed in the eastern Amur region on Thursday, killing 43 passengers.
According to Russian media reports, it is suspected that crew error during landing due to poor visibility may have caused the crash.
