Tehran : Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Friday reiterated his country’s commitment to a nuclear agreement it signed with six major powers in 2015, and asked the US to do the same. Zarif was responding to statements from Washington that called for a revised nuclear deal as Iran continued to pose a threat to the world, Efe news reported. “The worn-out allegations by the US cannot cover the country’s admission of Iran’s implementation of its nuclear deal undertakings,” Zarif said.

He said that the implementation of the pact by Tehran required the US “to change its path and act upon its undertakings.” US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said this week in a letter that Iran was fulfilling its commitments but warned that the White House was reviewing the agreement.
