Melbourne : A flight attendant aboard the ill-fated AirAsia flight QZ8501 had posted a message to her boyfriend on social media just two weeks before the crash saying “I love you from 38,000 feet”.

According to News.com.au, in one of her last posts on social media, Khairunnisa Haidar Fauzi, 22, also known as Nisa, posted a picture of the note on her Instagram account.

Fauzi had reportedly scribbled the words on a napkin and placed it on a cabin window before taking a picture of it.

However, it remains unknown whether the picture was taken on the doomed plane.

Fauzi’s body was found with her name tag pinned to her flight uniform.

AirAsia flight QZ8501, flying from the Indonesian city of Surabaya to Singapore with 162 people on board, lost contact with air traffic control on Sunday.

Indonesian rescuers have recovered various bits of debris including passenger luggage and bodies floating in the water.
