Phulbari (West Bengal): The Border Security Force (BSF) men exchanged sweets with Border Guard Bangladesh personnel at the border on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr today. They also extended greetings on the occasion. Meanwhile, the Pakistani forces deployed along the border refused to accept sweets from the BSF personnel on Eid along the Wagah border in Punjab. “Can’t analyse why this happened, but there was no positive response from them this time,” BSF DIG MF Farooqui told ANI in Amritsar. “We have always greeted them on various festivals, we do our best to build peace,” he added. According to reports, Pakistan refused to fix a time for the exchange of sweets between the two sides.
