17 IS insurgents killed in drone strikes in Nangarhar

Nangarhar: At least 17 Islamic State insurgents were killed in drone strikes by the foreign troops in eastern Nangarhar province on Saturday.

As reported by Tolo News, according to a statement by 201 Selab Military Corps in eastern Afghanistan, foreign troops carried out eight drone strikes in Da Bala district of the province on Saturday.

There were no civilians casualties in the air strikes, it said. This comes four days after ten IS insurgents were killed in an air strike in Kot district of the province.
