Sanhita Naik has been a regular at Kitab Khana and feels that Kitab Khana is the finest place for people to spend hours together. “It was a mere co-incident that me along with my friend landed up at this bookstore. We had a scheduled meeting which was postponed at the nth moment and hence my friend suggested spending time at the book café. I was a little skeptical in the beginning since I am not that much into reading. However one look at the café and its ambience, and I was lost in its beauty. Kitab Khana is indeed an apt place to hangout in Mumbai. This place takes you on a beautiful journey of different worlds through the medium of books.”
“This place gives you a heavenly feeling where in you are nicely sprawled on one of the plush leather sofas surrounded by books of every genre. Your mind can sense peace in this place as you are thoroughly detached from the outside hullabaloo. And the finest part about this place is the café and its coffee which adds to your companionship. Time just flies by when you sit down here. Kitab Khana is the most serene hangout for every city explorer,” said she.

“We are flooded with humungous amount of work and hence we desperately await the advent of weekend to give our brains a much needed break. On one such weekend we headed for Adlabs Imagica which at that point of time was anew. The moment you land up at this place and you are awestruck by its extravagant layout. The place has umpteen rides and is properly segregated making it easy to locate. While one section is completely dedicated towards restaurants, the other part is assigned with graphic foyer. On the contrary at every ten steps you have a volunteer through this mammoth maze of entertainment.”
“The best part about this place is that the owners have kept in mind the needs of every age strata and hence no one is left disappointed. Right from little cherubs till octogenarians, everyone can have their share of fun over here. Also, rides designed here are offbeat from what we usually witness. They have introduced rides like the pendulum ride which elevates till 140 degrees in air compelling to hold your breath. There are numerous other rides which have a touch of graphics to it; making it all the more exciting.”
Talking about the wide range of cuisines offered here Anant said, “I am running short of words to explain the list of cuisines served here. Right from American, Continental, Chinese to all varieties of Indian food is served here, the aroma of which lingers in your minds. It is not just about the food but also the way in which they have set up the restaurant right in the middle of a huge lake beneath a ship. The place has excellent arrangements of three and five dimensional game zones giving you the feel of reality. Infused with the latest technology this place is indeed worth every penny shelled out of your pocket. You leave the place with a complete baggage of awesome memories and a relieved mind.”
Speaking about rejuvenating your mind, soul and body and the first venue that flashes through your mind is Priyadarshini Park. Spread across the plush locality of Malabar Hill at Napean Sea road the park has definitely brought the much needed solace to the hearts of Mumbaikars. “Time just flies away over here and hence I rate it as the best hangout in Mumbai,” said Shweta Kuvalekar.

Speaking about her favorite hangout she said, “Causeway to me has been my second home and this retail therapy has always helped me de-stress. This place has been giving people everything under one roof; right from accessories to clothes to ethnic articles. This place is a haven for shopaholics. To add to it, this place is blessed with outlets like Café Mondegar and Café Leopold. The clock stops ticking over here.”
