The ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict has given the world several disturbing visuals of residences turning into ashes and people being crushed to death. In a recent video surfaced online, a cat was spotted stuck under rubble in Gaza. The courageous animal didn't lose hope as it survived the attack and continued to breathe inside the trapped space. A heart-wrenching video filmed the cat being rescued by locals.
Rescued with bare hands
A photographer from Gaza involved in documenting the scenes of the war-torn region recorded the cat's rescue on his camera and posted it on his Instagram page. Mohammed Mostafa showed that the cat was rescued with bare hands and freed from the rubble. He captioned the reel: "Even the animals didn't give up (translated)."
Cat escapes site
The video opened with the cat popping out its neck for help followed by people assisting its escape from the site. After removing stones one by one, the cat was freed by the good samaritans. Seconds after most of its body was out of the building remnants, the animal managed to pull out itself and run away. It exited the area soon after. Another cat was also seen jumping off a wall and moving in the direction of the rescued cat.
