Uttar Pradesh News: CM Yogi Adityanath Distributes ₹285 Crore Compensation To 2.51 Lakh Farmers Under Crop Insurance And Welfare Schemes

Yogi Adityanath distributed ₹285 crore in compensation to 2.51 lakh farmers in Lucknow under crop insurance and farmer welfare schemes. He also handed grants for farm machinery, accident relief cheques and life insurance policies to beneficiaries across multiple districts.

Lucknow, February 21: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday personally distributed financial assistance through cheques to selected beneficiaries on the occasion of disbursing compensation under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (Kharif 2025) and the Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojana.

Compensation under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana

Under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, the Chief Minister handed over compensation cheques to: Gokarn from Hardoi – ₹2.11 lakh, Mohan Lal from Hamirpur – ₹1.72 lakh, Vinita Devi from Etah – ₹1.17 lakh, Shivam Rajawat from Jalaun – ₹1.03 lakh, Sushila Singh from Kannauj – ₹88,000.

Grants under agricultural mechanisation initiative

Under the agricultural mechanisation initiative, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath provided grants as follows: ₹32 lakh to Kuldeep Maurya from Raebareli for an Agrigator, ₹22.33 lakh to Deepchandra from Lucknow for a CHC (Custom Hiring Center), ₹4 lakh to Matru Prasad from Lucknow, ₹8 lakh each to Kripashankar Shukla from Raebareli and Akhilesh Tiwari from Sitapur for FMB.

Compensation under Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojana

Under the Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojana, the Chief Minister presented compensation cheques of ₹5 lakh each to: Preeti from Raebareli, Ragini Verma from Sitapur, Shaguna from Unnao, and Inderani and Usha from Lucknow.

CM Yogi also handed over life insurance policies worth ₹5 lakh each to young Aapda Mitras: Kaushalendra Kumar Singh (Lucknow), Mahak Srivastava (Lakhimpur Kheri), Hajr Fatima (Lakhimpur Kheri), Sukhman Kaur (Lakhimpur Kheri), and Shobhit Kumar Chauhan (Lakhimpur Kheri).
