Lucknow, April 2: Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) working in 108 and 102 ambulance services were honoured across Uttar Pradesh as EMT Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on Thursday. The initiative was led by EMRI Green Health Services, recognising the tireless efforts of frontline responders.
EMTs recognised for lifesaving efforts
EMTs were awarded certificates and financial incentives for their dedication to saving lives. President TVSK Reddy praised their commitment, highlighting their crucial role in delivering pre-hospital care during medical emergencies. He emphasised that EMTs are often the first point of hope for families in distress, making them the true heroes of emergency response.
Services benefit crores across the state
The organisation revealed that EMT services have benefited nearly 4.18 crore people through 108 ambulances and over 11 crore through 102 services in the state. Officials, including district authorities and medical officers, participated in felicitation ceremonies across districts.
